Welcome to Monster Slayer! This is a game about slaying monsters, and learning their abilities to kill even stronger monsters!

Killing a monster allows you to learn one of their abilities.

Use WASD keys to move. You CAN move diagonal by pressing mutiple direction keys at once.

SPACE bar swings your sword (melee attack). You cannot move while swinging your sword, and you cannot swing your sword diagonally. You may only swing it up, down, left or right, depending on your current facing.

[N] button shoots an arrow in the direction you're facing. Cooldown bar for arrow is in bottom right.

[M] is an ability button. You unlcok this by defeating the first monster. Once unlocked, the ingame prompt will tell you how to use it. Cooldown bar for this ability is in the bottom right once unlocked.
